LOWNDES COUNTY — Abraham Lincoln Shelton, 78, passed away. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at Sturdivant Cemetery. Visitation is from 2-5 p.m. today, at Lee-Sykes Chapel. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Shelton was born May 25, 1942, in Lowndes County, to the late Frank and Willie Mae Curry Shelton. He was a member of All Nations Ministries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Willie L Shelton, Fred Shelton, Marie Shelton-Godfrey, Elnora Johnson and Ann Shelton-McKinley. He is survived by his wife Susie Shelton; children, Tracy, Angela, Michael, Tina, Lamorris, Stephen and Christopher; and 11 grandchildren.
