SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — Annie Sue Blevins Sykes, 83, died July 17, 2013. Services are Friday at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Full Gospel MB Church with Freddie Edwards Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1-6 p.m. at Lee-Sykes Funeral Home. Mrs. Sykes was born Sept. 21, 1929, to the late Dudley Ussery and Rosie L. Owens. She was formerly employed with Baptist Memorial Hospital–Golden Triangle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Lee Blevins Jr. and Johnnie Sykes; sons, Eddie Joe Poindexter, Tommy Lee Blevins and Walter Lee Blevins; sister, Julia Ford; and brother, Jessie Will. Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Blevins Owen and Rosemary Blevins, both of Summerville; sons, Kenneth Blevins of Jackson, Sonny Blevins of Columbus, Harry E. Blevins of Hinesville, Ga., and Leno Perkins of Muskegee, Mich.; brother, Eddie Ussery of Columbus; sisters, Deloris Latham of Duluth, Ga. and Helen Latham of Columbus; 29 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jamaal Moore, Josiah Moore, Walter L. Blevins, Johnny Harvey, Rodney Owen, Christopher Blevins and Eddie Poindexter.
