ALICEVILLE, Ala. — Samaria Henry, 87, died March 18, 2022. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at Greater Mt. Zion. Burial will follow at Sturdivant Cemetery in Caledonia. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Lee-Sykes Funeral Home of Columbus is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Henry was born April 24, 1934, in Aliceville, to the late Joseph and Leavather Mcmullen Miller. She attended Bigbee School and Greater Mt. Zion Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph Miller, Zelma Lee Miller, Walter Miler, Truddie Miller, Christine Miller, Jim Miller, Hattie Bee Miller, Arthur Miller and Queen Ester Miller; daughters, Linda kay Larry and Patricia Ann Giles; and one grandchild. She is survived by her daughters, Angele Zelma henry-Hobbs, Scedell Henry, Dyanne Brown, Geraldine M. Gunn, Arma J. Harris, Kenyatta Sanders and Mieyatta Malone; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
